Our Over The Hill Gang (OTHG), birthday wishes went out to Diane and Ella. November 13, was our “Hat Day’ which we usually acknowledge every second Thursday of each month. There were many unusual hats that were displayed on our heads throughout the luncheon. We were able to have several pictures taken of the group for those who participated. The pictures are currently displayed on the front bulletin board in the dining room for viewing.
Members of the OTHG celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday on November 20th. Members were encouraged to bring a covered dish for the luncheon. Turkey and Ham was provided this year with no expense to the group due to several very generous donations. Our group activity consisted of having the members write down what they were thankful for this year. A random number of approximately 10 were selected to read to the members.
We were honored with a visit from the new Williamson County Judge, Judge Steve Snell as well as visitors, Rupal, Surea, Julie, Markez and Mike. All were welcomed and the majority of our guest join us for lunch. The OTHG had an average attendance of 48 individuals with over 180 meals served during the month. The OTHG did not meet on Thursday, November 25 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Our thanks goes out to Gary for his monthly history presentation on November 13th. The November history presentation was titled, “From Dirt Roads to Paved Roads.” Gary provides a monthly history presentation each third Thursday at 11:00 a.m. In addition, many thanks to Gary for providing the monthly sausage gravy and biscuits breakfast during the Tuesday morning social at 8:00 a.m. every first Tuesday of each month.

*** November Thoughts ***
One way to achieve inner peace is to finish what you start, even if that means finishing two bags of M & M’s and a chocolate cake.
If we’re not meant to have midnight snacks, why is there a light in the fridge?
If you are unsucessful at first, skydiving is absolutely not for you.
The Over The Hill Gang Inc. is an organization for those over 50 years old. You are welcome to join us. Membership is free. Thursday lunch is for a $ 7 donaton to cover expenses.
