Looking Back on January 2025

The new year started off by welcoming Mr. & Mrs. Claus (Ella & Tom), back to the gang. Tom and Ella took a brief leave of absents as they devoted time listening to several hundred children tell what they wanted for Christmas at Lakeline Mall. We also missed Ella’s cobbler.

Over 160 meals were served during the month of January with an average attendance of 40 individuals each week. This was a good response even with the January 9th. lunch cancelation due to the bad weather conditions.

Unfortunately, we mourn the loss of member, Wilson Middleton who passed away on the 16th. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and love ones.

Our thanks goes out to Gary Spivey for his presentation regarding the connection between the old communities of Hope Well and Gabriel Mills. In addition, many thanks to Elder Marteno and Elder Newman for the great support regarding the lunch cleanup provided each week.
