We continue to share many stories during the Tuesday and Thursday morning coffee and fellowship gatherings. The canasta card games and Women’s Bible study continue to move ahead each Wednesday morning as well as the Looming class conducted every other Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. During the month of October, we will add an evening Bible Study at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday evening.
Two presentations were provided to the group during October. The October Liberty Hill history lesson regarding the History Museum was provided by Gary Spivey. In addition, many thanks to our guest speaker, Jody Wills with the Capital of Texas Chapter Alzheimer’s Association for her very informative presentation. November’s history presentation will be regarding the Liberty Hill School desegregation.
The back beautification project (the shed), continues to move forward. A number of members have volunteered to help restore the shed by replacing the siding, painting the primer coat, final siding paint and trim. In addition, two members are painting murals on all sides of the shed. We look forward to celebrate the finished product in October, or November.
