September was a great month with over 250 meals served, eight birthday’s celebrated and six visitors welcomed. We started the month with Gary’s Tuesday morning large breakfast. Gary provides breakfast each first Tuesday of each month starting at 8:15 a.m. We usually have approximately 25 – 30 members attend. I remind members to arrive before 8:30 a.m. to insure a full plate.
T-Shirts were ordered for those individuals who wished to purchase Over The Hill Gang shirts. September’s history presentation was in regard to the upcoming Sculpture Park & Festival. The Gang celebrated Labor Day with an Ice Cream Social with hot dogs. We plan to have the Ice Cream social approximately every three month. Perhaps sometime in December.

October 8, 2026: Corn dogs, mac & cheese, tater tots, pinto beans, steamed squash, corn, broccoli, garden salad, various desserts and tea/coffee.
October 15, 2026: Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, French bread, mac & cheese, green bean casserole, fried okra, baked beans, garden salad, various desserts and tea/coffee.
October 22, 2026: Baked Potatoes with brisket bits ,French bread, fruit, pinto beans, green bean casserole, various desserts and coffee and tea.

October 4 – 10th.: Tuesday morning Coffee Social and breakfast at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning Canasta cards at 10:00 a.m. and Women’s Bible study at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday evening Bible study at 6:00 p.m.. Thursday morning Coffee Social at 8:00 a.m. and our weekly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. followed by various games and fellowship.
October 11-17th.: Tuesday morning Coffee Social at 8:00 a.m. Yak and Yarn group at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning Canasta Cards at 10:00 a.m. and Women’s Bible study at 11:00 a.m. Evening Bible Study at 6:00 p,m, Thursday morning Coffee Social at 8:00 a.m. Weekly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. followed by various games and fellowship. Field trip/tour and presentation of the Bittick Family Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Rides will be available to and from the Senior Center.

The Over The Hill Gang is an organization for those over 50 years old. You are welcome to join us. Membership is free. Thursday lunch is for a $7 fee to cover expenses.
