Welcome everyone glad to see y’all. Good to see that Tom and Ella are back and that he is doing better.

A big, Thank You to those that came early to hear Gary talk about The History of Liberty Hill we learned about The Sculpture Park today.

OTHG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

April 27th is OTHG T-Shirt Day Please wear your OTHG t-shirt, if you don’t have one, please wear whatever you like JUST please wear one.

May 2nd, we will be doing another craft day, not sure yet what it will be. Any and all ideas or suggestions are welcome. That starts at 10am, please do come early to enjoy a cup of coffee and a donut before we get started.

JOKE:

An elderly gentleman had a serious hearing problem for a number of years. He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman to hear 100%. The elderly man went back a month later see the doctor and the doctor said “your hearing is prefect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again”. The gentleman replied, “Oh, I haven’t told them yet. I just sit around and listen to their conversations. I’ve changed my will three times already!”

Father in heaven we come to You with Praise and Thanksgiving. We ask that You bless our time here together as we enjoy food, fun, games or just visiting with each other.

April 20th, we will be having a “History of Liberty Hill” with our very own Gary Spivey, we start at 10:30. Come join us and then stay for lunch, games or just to visit with other members.

PLEASE be considerate of making sure EVERYONE has been served before going for seconds and I WILL announce take home if there is any. Birthday Cake will be served with the meal for those who would like some.

OTHG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Next Tuesday April 4th, we will be making Easter theme centerpieces for the tables, please come have some coffee with a donut or snack and join in on the fun. Coffee starts at 9:30 you’re welcome to come a little earlier if you’d like, then around 10 we will start our craft.

April 6th, we will be having Birthday Cake to celebrate all the April birthdays.

April 20th will be History of Liberty Hill with Gary Spivey, we start at 10:30. Come join us it is very educational and interesting. We will be having a History lesson every 3rd Thursday of each month.

We are still in need of one more person for the Nominating Committee, anyone interested please come talk to Merle or me anytime.

While I was making a farewell visit before moving to a new parish, an elderly member of the congregation paid me the compliment of suggesting that my successor would not be as good as I had been.

This morning Gary gave another History of Liberty Hill presentation, it was very interesting and thank you Gary for taking the time to teach us about this beautiful little well maybe not so little any more town of ours.

OTHG ANNOUNCEMENTS:Today being the first Thursday of March we have birthday cake to celebrate all those having a birthday this month. So Happy Birthday to y’all!!

Next Thursday March 7th, we will be making center pieces for our tables anyone interested please come and join us, we start with coffee and donuts at 9:30 and will begin our craft at around 10. We will be providing everything needed and for those that would like to make one to take home cost will be $3.00.
