Welcome everyone good to see y’all and to be back. Has everyone signed in? If not Merle will get you after.

OTHG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The Loins Foundation will be sending members to Belize on a Helps Mission for eyeglasses and other needs. If you have any old glasses and would like to donated them please bring them to the center as soon as possible, so they can be read and ready to go.

Tuesday June 6th, we will be doing a plant exchange again, for those who would like to participate bring plants you would like to share. Come early to have a cup of coffee and a donut or snack before we get started at 10.

Thursday June 15th, Gary will be giving a lesson on The History of Liberty Hill, that starts at 10;30 again come early an enjoy a cup of coffee.

Thursday June 29th, will be Hat Day wear your favorite or silly hat.

JOKE:

A woman visits her husband in prison. Before leaving, she tells a correction officer; “You shouldn’t make my husband work like that. He’s exhausted!” The officer laughs and says , “Are you kidding?” He just eats, sleeps and stays in his cell!” The wife replies; “He just told me he’s been digging a tunnel for months!”

Father God we come before You with a Thankful heart as we gather together today for a meal, conversation, fun and games and ask that You bless this time together with family and friends.

OTHG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

June 6th, we will be doing a plant exchange again for those of you who didn’t get to last month and wanted to. We start with coffee, a donut or snack around 9:30 and then we will get started about 10, please come join us for coffee and stay for the plant exchange.

June 15th, Gary will be giving another lesson on the History of Liberty Hill. They have been VERY interesting, do plan to come early that Thursday.

June 29th, will be HAT DAY wear your favorite or silly hat and join in on the fun.

OTHG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

This morning we had our History of Liberty Hill, thank you to those that came and those that didn’t you missed out.

As y’all have noticed we have a new board to show more pictures of our OTHG.

For those that don’t look at our website or have access to it, we will have “Taco Bar” today with all the Fixs’ since we had to cancel last week.

May 25, 2023 we will be having our Pizza Day, and don’t forget it is our wear something “Blue” Thursday.

June 6, 2023 we will be doing a craft, not sure what it will be yet. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Today we our celebrating the month of May birthdays and will be serving Birthday Cake with the meal for those that would like to have some.

For those that haven’t noticed that our menu board is now a picture board, Merle did something new and different for a menu board. Also the menu for each month will be posted on the website.

May 18, Gary will be doing another History of Liberty Hill that starts at 10:30, you are welcome to come early to enjoy a cup or two of coffee and a snack before we get started.

May 25, will be Blue T-shirt/top Day, so wear your Blue shirt/top any shade you have will do.

JOKE:

Charlie thought his girlfriend might be the one after some time together.

But after one day looking through her knicker drawer and finding a Nurse’s outfit, a French maid’s outfit and a Police woman’s uniform he finally decided.

“If she can’t even hold down a job, that she was not the one for him.”

With today being National Day of Prayer, Father we Thank You for the fact that we do live in the Greatest Country in the world and lift it up in prayer, so that You continue to bless it and that we remember It was founded on Your Word. “The Word of God” Bless this time with family and friends as we gather here together for food, fun and games. OTHG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

April 28, which this Friday there will be a bus tour for Liberty Hill ISD at 11 am picking up here at the center and comes back around 1:30, anyone interested in going Friday please let me as soon possible so I can add you to the list. If you would like to go but can’t make it this time, there will be other tours in the near future. I was told possibly during the summer break if not sometime after the beginning of the new school year. I will inform y’all as soon as I have the information.

Tuesday May 2nd, we will be planting seedlings and potting some starter plants. If you’d like to join us to help and/ or have plants, you would like to donate or share please bring them with you.

May 18, Gary Spivey will be giving another History of Liberty Hill starting at 10:30. Come early and have some coffee and a snack. Will be an ongoing thing every third Thursday of each month.

JOKE:

When my wife caught me standing on the bathroom scale, sucking in my stomach, she laughed. “Ha! That’s not going to help” she said. I replied “Sure, it does.” It’s the only way I can see the numbers.”

PRAYER:

Father God, we Thank You for the blessing You continually bestowed on us daily, that we do not do without. Bless this time together with family, friends, the food that we will enjoy today and our town of Liberty Hill.

Bus Tour of Liberty Hill ISD

Bus Tour of Liberty Hill ISD schools, present and future sites and information.

A tour is scheduled for Friday April 28th, 2023, at 11am to about 1:30.

The bus will be picking up members that will be going at 11am sharp at the OTHG Center, if you are interested in going or have any questions, please contact the OTHG Center’s President Jannett Thornburg at (626) 771-8088 before Thursday, April 27th, 2023, 2pm. If you are interested but cannot make it this time, there will be other tours in the near future. Information about when will be posted as soon we have it.
