JOKE:

A few years ago, a Baptist minister and a local elderly resident found themselves sitting next together on a flight to Dallas. The flight ended up getting delayed so the flight attendants announced that all passengers would receive complimentary drinks by way of an apology.
When the gorgeous-beautiful young attendant came round with the drink trolley the old man requested a whisky and soda. “And what would you like?” she then asked the Baptist minister. “I would rather commit adultery than drink alcohol!” he snapped. The old man looked confused, but quickly handed his drink back to the attendant and said “I’m awfully sorry. I didn’t know there was a choice!”

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we ask that You bless this time here today as we gather with family and friends to enjoy food, fun, games and conversations. Bless the food prepared today, may it nourish our bodies and always consider those less fortunate.
In Jesus name’ we pray, Amen.

Please don’t forget to turn your phones back on. Anyone needing assistance please go first, then everyone else so that those serving can also sit and enjoy their lunch. Thank you and enjoy your lunch.

JOKE:

There used to be this old rancher by the name of Bernie, just west of town who married a vivacious 21-year-old barrel racer. Now the mayor was a good friend of his and was concerned about how Bernie would be able to satisfy such a young bride and feared that the marriage might quicky disintegrate. So, he advised Bernie to hire a ranch hand to help around the place, knowing full well that guy would probably help out in the bedroom too behind the old man’s back. A few months later, the mayor called on Bernie and asked, ” How’s your new wife?” “She’s pregnant!” said Bernie with a proud smile. With a crooked grin the mayor added, “And how’s that hired hand?” Oh, she’s pregnant too! said Bernie.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we honor You today for another year that you have given us to enjoy. As we start this new year let it be one of honoring You in every area of our life’s. Bless this time here today as we gather together with family and friends and bless the food prepared today, may it nourish our bodies and always consider those less fortunate,

In JESUS’ name we pray. Amen.

JOKE:

Our L.H. Police chief was looking for a new deputy recently. He posted ads, and sure enough Lisa, a beautiful looking blonde tried out for the position. She wasn’t the sharpest nail in the bucket, but seeing she had a natural charisma about her, the chief gave her an interview. “ Ok, said the Chief. Lisa, what is 1 and 1? “11” she enthusiastically replied. The chief thought to himself, That’s not what I meant, but she’s right in a way. So he preceded to ask her, “Ok, Lisa, what 2 days of the week start with the letter T? “Shoot, that’s easy, she replied “ Today and Tomorrow.” The chief was again surprised that Lisa supplied a correct answer that he had never thought of himself. He thought of his next question carefully to make sure there could be no equivocation about the answer. “Now Lisa, listen carefully, “Who killed Abraham Lincoln?” Lisa looked a little surprised, thought really hard for a minute and finally admitted, “I don’t know “ “Well, why don’t you go home and work on that one for a while?” the chief replied with satisfaction.” So, Lisa wandered over to the salon where her besties were anxiously waiting to hear the result of the interview. “How’d it go?” They all asked. Lisa was ecstatic. “ It went great! First day on the job and I’ve already been assigned to a murder case!
