The Over The Hill Gang May birthday wishes went to Terri, Marilyn, Alan, Harry, Georgia and Debbie. We welcomed the following visitors: Craig, Leroy, Bob, Anita, Carl , Tom, Elaine and David. Our average attendance for the month was 58 members with over 250 meals served.
Many thanks to Gary for providing May’s history presentation regarding the various Liberty Hill Parades. In addition, our thanks to Gary for furnishing breakfast on May 5th. Gary provides breakfast for the Tuesday morning social group every first Tuesday of each month at 8:00 a.m. On May 7th. the gang acknowledged Mother’s Day by providing all the ladies with a long stem carnation. We also celebrated the life of Robert Foster on May 9th. with a luncheon at the Senior Center. Robert passed away last December shortly before Christmas.
The Yak and Yarn group met on May 12 and 26th. and continue to meet every other Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Next month’s Yak and Yarn group are scheduled to meet on June 9th and June 23rd. Our thanks to Steve for providing the women’s Bible Study every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
***** May Thoughts ***** Insomnia sharpens your math skills because you spend all night calculating how much sleep you’ll get if you’re able to fall asleep right now. If you’re happy and you know it.. It’s your med’s. Of course I talk to myself….sometimes I need expert advice. Some things are better left unsaid. I often realize this after I’ve said them. The reason there are two senators for each state is so that one can be the designated driver.

The Over The Hill Gang Inc. is an organization for those over 50 years old. You are welcome to join us. Membership is free. Thursday lunch is for a $7 donation to cover expenses.
