OTHG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Reminder that Steve Tatro will be available on every 2^nd Tuesday morning during coffee from 8 to 10 to answer any questions regarding Medicare during the open enrollment period. Also he is at the CRC every Monday from 10-12.

Thursday Oct.19^th, Gary will be doing he’s looking Back at Liberty Hill. Topic how Liberty Hill got Incorporated. Please come join us for coffee and stay to hear Gary at 10:30 then lunch at 11:30.

Thursday Oct. 26^th, will be Western Day, so wear your best or favorite Western style outfit.

Tuesday Nov. 7^th, will be our craft day. We will be doing Autumn centerpieces. We will also be having lunch after, more information to come later on this month.

Reminder “Bible Study” is still on hold until sometime after the new lease is signed.

Brown Paper Larry

He sees a guy tryong up his horse in front of the saloon and calls, “Hey are you olks gonna hang someone?”

The guy nods. “Yup. We’re fixin’ to hand Brown Paper Larry”.

The cowboy’s brow furrows. “How come he’s called Brown Paper Larry?”

“Well,” says the guy, “the man always wears clothes made of brown paper.Brown paper shirts. Brown paper pants. Even brown paper socks.”

The cowboy ponders this for a moment, then asks, :What are ya hangin’ him for?”

“Rustling.”

Today, Constable Jeff Anderson from Precinct 2 is here joining us for lunch and will also be giving some safety tips, during our lunch time.

Tuesday Oct. 3^rd. We’ll be craft day and we will be making Dream Catchers cost is $3 to $8 depending on size. We will be having coffee and donuts first then start the craft at about 10. And will be having lunch after.

A Williamson County Deputy pulled over a local man the other night and said to him, “You rolled right through that stop sign back there. Where are you headed to this late at night anyway?

The man explained that he was on his way to a lecture about alcohol and its detrimental effects on the human body, the health risks of smoking, and the consequences of staying out late at night.

The deputy was suspicious and asked, “Who in the world gives a lecture about that this late at night?”

The man replied, “MY WIFE!”

JOKE:

A Texas cowboy rode into a small Oklahoma town and stopped at a saloon for a beer.  Unfortunately, the locals always had a habit of picking on strangers, which he was.  When he finished his drink and went outside to leave, he found his horse had been stolen.  He went back into the saloon, handily flipped his gun into the air, caught it above his head without even looking, and fired a shot into the ceiling.

“Which one of you sidewinders stole my horse,” he bellowed.

No one answered.  “Awright, I’m gonna have another beer and if my horse ain’t back by the time I finish, I’m gonna do what I did in Texas, and I don’t like to do what I done in Texas.”

The locals shifted nervously.

The cowboy had another beer, walked outside, and his horse had been returned to the post.  He saddled up and started to ride out of town.

The bartender ran out and asked, “Say pardner, before you go, what happened in Texas?”

The cowboy turned back and said, “I had to walk home.”
